I had a quick look at Bitcoin recently. I came to the conclusion that the ship has sailed. I considered the possibility of mining bitcoin. In the past bitcoins were fairly easy to mine, so if you earned a stash, then today it would be worth a small fortune. But these days the cost of mining is prohibitively expensive, requiring heavy duty hardware, costing $$$. So the cost of entry to mining is high, and you may not see a good return (if at all) for some considerable time.
I think a lot of people these days buy/sell Bitcoin, just like stocks and shares. I don't really know how viable that is and what kind of returns you would get, but I imagine you have to invest big to see a decent return on investment.

I recommend you go with GPU mining mining start mining yesterday!
If you use the RX 580 and get about 6 in the single rig (due to power use on a standard wall socket it might not b able to take more load) and get cracking on ethereum!
With a m/hs of about 30 m/hs (sometimes you can achieve a slightly higher rate if you tweak them juuuust right) you can make about current 40 usd per card.
It was previously 400 usd per eth that you have mined GPU mining I extremely profitable because every man and his do is doing it now I am in the process of making many rigs because of will pay for itself in no time.
Do not listen to some of these greedy and corrupt an evil gubbermint like the Chinese who have now banned crypto currencies fr it's country because they say it provides "too much risk" but even stocks also have high risk but they haven't banned investing in stocks... so they are hiding something for sure and not b fair at all!
Eth is very important to mine right now indeed - if you tweak your system just rig you can get about as low as 75 kw/h per card!
I am considering moving to ice land because electricity is very cheap there is they have extremely l tax rates AND it's super cold so you don't have to worry about your rigs ove heating!!
Bit coin or all crypto currencies are very powerful a gubbermint HATE them because it I out their ugly control of just printing billions and then causing inflation and devalued ran or dollar from gubbermint ruining people's lives.
Gubbermints cannot stop bit coin!
Japan has now agreed and confirmed bit coin a legal tender... don't listen to the Chinese gubbermint they only fear something they cannot control...
Each rig will cost you about maybe a fe thousa dollars each I want to get started asap only problem is all the RX 580 are completely sold out everywhere!
However there is a light at the end of the tunnel! I recently cheked with the one supplier and they recently sold a whole bunch But because I was late in the back order I will be later in line to get the next batch or shipment that comes in.
Do not get the vega FE edition as th drivers are just not there yet... but they will pick up later because amd did add the drivers to them but due to the high energy cost for the low current hash rate I recommend waiting a bit

Hey, PhilipX20. I've been investing in bitcoin for a year and I can say that it's worth it. I made a huge profit from it and everyone can earn money if you want to know more about bitcoin I advise you to read Mastering Bitcoin, there you can find tips about cryptocurrency. Also, I recommend you to use sites which are called Bitcoin mixers, they are making transactions in order to hide the important data from others, read this article if you want to know more about. There you can find what does crypto mixer means and also a lot of information about mixers and how to choose the suitable variant.

My son took his stimulus money and bought into the bitcoin game. So far he's made his investment grow. I wish him well... I think it's easier to lose money than to make it. However, as he said, I can afford to lose the money... it was a gift.

It's certainly not my thing to invest. I liken it to the stock market which I stay out of as well. I often spend my money foolishly but never gamble. I want something in return for my hard earned dollar... something more than a chance.
