Help iPhone --> S3 iMessage Bug

Receiving my S3 this weekend so I'll have to make sure to turn off iMessage. Also I need to remember to remove my B.net authenticator =D haha
 
So, how about picture messages from iphone users? I can't download any pictures when I hit download, and a notification pops up saying it failed to download. Any ideas? I came from an iphone and I disabled the imessage, and that worked, but the pictures aren't downloading correctly.

you probably need to check your providers apn settings
 
I have a Moto G5 +. I have a problem opening group texts from iPhone users. I get a text notification, it shows ‘tap to download’, but it never downloads. Anyone have a solution? I never had an iPhone, but do have an iPad Pro.

Sounds like they're coming in as MMS, which I believe does happen with group iMessage from iPhones. Check the phone's APN details are correct and present for your carrier, as that's frequently a reason why MMS content won't download.

My service provider is Consumer Cellular, its the AT&T network.. APN just shows ‘reseller’. Dont know hif this is correct or how to change it, or what to change it too. I’ll contact Consumer Cellular with this issue. Thanks

That doesn't sound right. Think you might need to contact Consumer Cellular for the exact details. They may have their APN details their support website, many carriers do. Do you have 3G/4G wireless internet working on your phone, because the APN is used for that as well.
