Official HTC Hero 2.1 Update now (5/19) on Sprint.com

i have the version that was leaked a few days ago. im still unable to find Tapatalk in the Market. is anyone who has upgraded with either the leak or the official release able to see it in the Market?
 
Sucks to be me...I have homework due today at 6 and I haven't even started. Guess I have to do whats more important... the update!

Yep, me too. I also noticed that as long as you're signed into your Google account, the entire history of paid and free apps is listed under the "downloads" tab.

No making a long list of your apps is necessary. :)
 
Forgive me if I'm missing something, but the update will not go for me.

I picked up the mirrored one and everything works as it should until it gets to the part where it's verifying information about my Android phone. It sits and sits and sits, but it will not go, eventually forcing me to force quit out of it.

Is there a step I'm missing that wasn't detailed on the Sprint website? I've tried the update with and without HTC Sync installed, but neither will continue past that point.

Thanks for any help.
 
All of your phones should already have the Sync software on them. Just mount your SD Card and browse your phone. There should be an HTC Sync folder with the install file.

Can you please check for me if you can find MusicSleep Paid app? I have installed the latest leaked ROM and since everybody seems to say that this official version is the same as the leak, I wasn't planning on reinstalling it using the RUU and lose root, but I couldn't find that paid app in the market, only the demo one. Strange that some of the other paid apps are there. Thanks in advance.

One would think, that since everyone is so jacked up about the update, that you all would have installed sync before today? knowing it was necessary to update and all....
