What is the best reliable antivirus for S8 Plus?

I have actually googled it but so many people have so many different answers and can't rely on people's biased opinions. Can anyone here help me out?

Really, the best antivirus is installing apps from trusted sources. I don't think it's possible to really answer the question. As you've already stated, everyone will have a different opinion. I'm sure all of the top rated ones are fairly equal. I think you can also just have Google Play automatically check for malicious apps.

Fully agree about reliable sources, but I recently thought about this question and come up with an idea that Bitdefender Antivirus is perfectly okay, and by the way without ads.

I use Lookout, but the premium version is provided free of charge through my carrier. Also, gives me locate phone from any PC, similar to the find my iPhone service that I enjoyed when I was an iPhone user.

Do you think computer antiviruses are also good for mobile devices?

In a word, no. If you mean a computer running Windows, it's a completely different operating system. To start with, such anti-virus applications wouldn't run on an Android based device. Android isn't vulnerable to viruses in the same way that Windows is. That's not to say there aren't security vulnerabilities in Android, but as stated above, breaches often occur as a consequence of bad user practices.
