Hi there, I just wanted to say that this site is great! I'm currently an AT&T customer who's planning to upgrade to a smartphone in the very near future. Since I'm not a fan of the iPhone or Windows Mobile, I'm out of luck with AT&T. I've been looking around, and have decided all but conclusively that my next phone needs to be Android (especially after seeing 2.0!). The best rumors have AT&T getting Android in January or February at the earliest, while others say they have no plans for it at all, so my current plan is to buy an unlocked HTC Hero designed for Canadian carrier Telus after it's released next week, but I'm still researching alternatives, as I'm not really sure if an unlocked version will be available right away. I'm really impressed with the Droid, but don't see a GSM version coming out any time soon... Anyway, I hope to find some good recommendations on Phandroid and these forums!
