Problem about Privacy Protection Password

Timoth

Lurker
Sorry guys, I just bought my Samsung Galaxy M30s android phone, but one day I tried to change the SIM CARD then till now it needs me to put PRIVACY PROTECTION PASSWORD but I remember nothing about it. How can you help me?

Do you know what the password is?
If not, there is not much we can do.

If you know the password, then open the device and go into Settings.

Find Security.

Choose Screen Lock and then select your method of choice for unlocking the phone.

i think he means for the sim lock not the lockscreen.

maybe this article might help:

You are probably right.
I just assumed that the lock was the phone lock.

I have never had a SIM lock become activated on my part, only by the phone vendor.
They gave me a new SIM card for free, so no problem.

That might be a good solution here as well- to just get another SIM card from the phone company.
