How to root and install Android 10 on Xiaomi Note 9 Pro Max?

i do not think there is a way to root it yet. it just came out. rooting is very device specific.
keep an eye out here:

look at the root subforum. as you can see there is nothing there yet. but if there is an exploit found, be assured the developers there will post it.
