Android 9 showing wrong data usage

Hello
I have android phone showing wrong data uses
It shows i used 3tb this month which is impossible because all i do is facebook and some small YouTube videos
also my monthly data limit is 100Gb and it doesn't get consumed
 
i would not blame this on android 9. what phone do you have? what carrier are you on? where are you finding this data?

What is phone carrier? (my main language isn't english so a carrirr can mean something else)

It means the telephone company or provider. Who you pay your phone bill to, and gives service to your mobile phone.

As for the phone showing wrong data usage. Have you tried restarting it?
 
I'm sorry no one's replied. We're not ignoring you! It's just that no one who read your thread had any ideas or advice to offer.

Please be patient. Someone may come along with suggestions. In the meantime, tell us what your carrier says your usage is. Does it match what your phone is showing?

the usage isn't like what the phone showing , its very lower
it's about 2 gb a day not like what the phone showing

Your mobile data should reset automatically at the beginning of each billing cycle ie. when your 100Gb allowance starts.

You should find 'Billing cycle' in Settings - -Data Usage.

You could try resetting it yourself by changing the setting to today's date.

Make a note of the current date so that you can restore it afterwards.

If you are unable to reset it you need to contact your carrier as has been suggested to see if they can help you.

There is no 'billing cycle ' option in my settings
My phone carrier is Etisalat btw
 
I'm really surprised that you got nowhere with Etisalat.

I assume you are on a monthly contract, if so how do Etisalat inform you of your data usage to bill you correctly, and have you any means of checking it?

3Tb is a lot of apparent usage but if you know the usage is less than your 100Gb allowance, does it really matter.

The internet i use isn't FROM Etisalat
The Sim in the phone is
