Xda is a site for developers. Hacking is not piracy, depending on what is being hacked.

Is it better to post problems with AVD emulator here or at XDA or elsewhere? What about for Android Studio issues for beginners?

This, like XDA, is a community forum. So if you are looking for help from "the android developers", meaning the android team at Google, then no, this is not that place.
