How do you install it from the site? Rename to update.zip and apply via nandroid?

I think that works. Other way to do it is listed on OP, which is to extract the apk, drop it on the sd card, go into terminal emulator, type "su" (no quotes), and then "switchlnchr" (again no quotes). Presto chango, new launcher is installed!

You will have to redo your widgets, but settings from rc1 and other shortcuts will be retained.

So far, seems just as fast as rc1, and has the zoomy effect from LauncherPro. I still like ADW more than launcherPro because of the taskbar... brilliant stuff.

Yeah, you can just put it on the sd card and run the switchlnchr script.

Also, I've noticed that if you turn the scrolling speed down to 0, it scrolls just as fast (faster?) than LauncherPro. This new release is very, very nice.

I wish I could turn off that drawer zoom animation and screen preview, really bothersome

Have you pressed the menu key, adw settings, and looked at the settings?

You can turn off drawer animations, as well as previews :D

Also, I suggest turning down the screen transition. At 0ms, it is crazy fast.

Unfortunately even with screen previews off they still work every time you press the home key. When you turn off screen drawer animations the drawer becomes transparent.

You need to reboot to get rid of the transparency bug.

Also, you need to change the home key behavior, if you don't want it to bring up the preview.

It's all in the settings.

So the only thing that's different from rc1 and 2 is the zoomy effect. haha. I like that...(zoomy)

Just updated . I like the new launcher and I was enjoying LauncherPRO for a while too. The HTC keyboard included is ok. I wonder if Fab will include Cyanogen custom Swype mod. Looks pretty neat.

This is probably a problem with Bugless Beast 1.0 (which the the ROM was based on), but since installing this ROM, on 2 different occations a call has come into my phone, the phone has NOT rung, but the phone shows a missed call and associated voice-mail.

Any thoughts on why the phone would sometime not ring?

Hi All,
Is there an app that can tell you if your phone is stable at a certain clock speed? I really dont know where to start in overclocking the phone. Thanks

Using SetCPU, you can run a stress test. If your phone doesn't reboot within the first few minutes, you're most likely stable at that frequency.

thanks FAB. one more question i noticed you dropped your cpu from 1000 to 800 although you mentioned it was running stable at 1000. wHAT made you lower the clock speed.

I no longer need to clock to 1 ghz, because of the new adw and launcherpro launchers. I'm running lwp, 5 screens, and a whole bunch of widgets and adw is still silky smooth.

As for the camera bug, can you elaborate? I can still take pictures with 40% battery.

I think this happen to me before. You try clearing the old launcher screen before adding stuff to the new launcher?

Anyone found a fix or experience this? when you go to message and attach you get the icons but the words are blank. I attach a pic I'm on BB V1.0, Nex theme V 1.0.1 and 800mhz kernal

One more question. Is it normal for the phone to ring once then stop ringing and keep vibrating until i answer the call?

Oddly enough last night/this morning at work my entire home screen <all 3 of them> went totally blank! ADW had LAB and RAB in place of my icons and the entire screen blank aside from the LWP running? Anyone else experience this? It wasnt a slow load....it was a NOT there...Flashed back to 1.0 for now...
