Is there a 'mark as read' feature?

Using a browser on a phone, I see no 'mark as read' button/option:

Does it exist? If not, could you please add it?

As noted months ago, I strongly dislike the harsh, bold, black unread thread titles. I'd really like to be able to dim some by marking them read. I typically skip threads whose titles make clear I can't possibly help, like 'how do I do X on window$?' It would be nice to dim them without opening.

Edit: I don't know of a way to mark individual posts as read without viewing the thread.

but if you do, you are marking "all forums read" esentially marking all threads as being read....greying them out. i do not think this is what @MoodyBlues wants.

I'm with @MoodyBlues on this one, it's a pain in the proverbial to open every one, including the obvious 'rubbish' to remove the horrible bold black. I suspect @ocnbrze is right, although I do think that using @kate's solution is an improvement, perhaps as an interim 'get around'.

i think @MoodyBlues wants something similar to emails. where you can just mark the emails you want to be marked as read and either those emails will not show up or will be greyed out depending on your email client.

I respectfully...disagree. Marking all threads read would make it hugely difficult to find threads I'm interested in, that are new or have new activity. So, I'm sorry, buddy, but no!

I respectfully acknowledge your 'respectful disagreement' , but I do find it a little bit easier to scan through them and pick out the ones I think I will be interested in. Not ideal I know, which is why I tagged on the 'interim get around' .
