Fatality: 2020

I loved Helen Reddy. That is so sad.

I had been thinking I missed losing a compilation album of hers. I'll admit since the days before internet I didn't realise she was Australian.

"Angie Baby"

So so sad.
She was terrific.

I'm man enough to admit that I bought her first album when it came out (and old enough to admit that it was on 8-track!) and played it a lot. She was indeed terrific.

That trumps me. :)
I wasn't man enough to mention the album I lost was an official cassette which the car I scrapped last September could still play (dyu know I may still have that tape)

She was wonderful.

Singer/songwriter Johnny Nash, probably best known for his hit “I Can See Clearly Now,” has died at 80 from natural causes.

RIP, Johnny, and thanks for entertaining us.

Side note to the year 2020: you’re already memorable enough. Please stop trying to outdo yourself...

My first exposure to Sir Sean Connery was in 1959 in an epic Disney flick. :)

Though not reflected in that movie, he was truly a talent and his work will live on and be enjoyed for generations. RIP Sir

RIP to Eddie Hassell, best known from NBC's "Surface" was shot in Texas, apparently in connection with a carjacking and later died from his wounds. Mr. Hassell was just 30.

Condolences to his friends, family, fans and loved ones.

He was one of the better bonds.

I totally liked him as Bond (think he's the best Bond), but his depth as an actor amazes me. From the beat cop in "Untouchables" to the vulnerable reclusive writer in "Finding Forrester," he really explored every aspect of his characters. (I don't think there were all that many aspects in James Bond, so...) ;)
