Covid 19

No joke, it has been putting the smack down on me for 5 days straight. An aggressive beast is all I can say for it.

I'm healthy and have no underlying health issues and in very good shape. It still whooped me like nothing I've had before.

I don't have a cough but the fatigue and muscle aches suck lol

dude that sucks........get well man....this pandemic is no joke. my friend's girlfriend has it right now. that is as close to covid i have been so far. luckily i have no contact with them so i'm good. it just sucks.

I have no clue where I could have got it from to be honest. I wore a face mask anytime I was in public and never broke the social distancing space. I felt fine then wham it hit me like a raging bull. I don't know of anyone doing contact tracing.

I went to the farm for thanksgiving and to shoot a few hundred rounds for fun then 2 days later uh oh. Everyone in my family that came have had no issues.

I woke up and I looked like a white bed sheet and I'm dark brown normally. I felt like I had the flu and had symptoms similar to the flu but 10x worse .

I've probably lost 10-15 pounds but no loss of taste or smell so far.

i hope your family gets tested just in case one of them might have been asymptomatic.as well. and at least you get to have a covid vacation:p:goofydroid::p:goofydroid:

@Dannydet I think you mentioned recently that your dad was sick, but I didn't think it was COVID-related.

It's a very good sign that he's off the ventilator and his vital signs are good. I'm guessing that he's still on oxygen.

You're not allowed to visit him, right? That has to suck. :(

Wishing him a continued, and speedy, recovery. Please know that my thoughts are with you, and I hope you'll keep us updated.

How are you doing today, @James L? Let us know!
Yesterday was horrible but today my breathing hasn't been as labored. No loss of taste or smell so far, a horrible migraine yesterday. Dehydration seems to be a constant issue no matter what. Kinda odd, drink plenty!

Feeling much better today, this morning seemed iffy, but the latter of the day I've felt much better.
Fatigue is not as much today but still there.

Stay safe everyone!

Hopefully you're over the worst of it now, @James L. It sounds like you may have rounded the curve. But this virus is rather unpredictable, so let's not start celebrating just yet!

Get plenty of rest, drink lots of fluids, and let us know how you're doing.

I probably got it back at the end of January, knocked me down for five days

I just got out of quarantine this week when my coworker came down with it, and today we found out that three more people tested positive at work. I wasn't exposed to them, but I'm down half my crew for the next two weeks...

Finally free of this beast. Feeling 100x better.

Fatigue has given away to new energy. I don't feel sick anymore, just 15 pounds lighter and hungry again lol.
i don't think people will want to go on the covid-diet any time soon....LOL

i'm glad you are feeling better.

today i found out that one of my co-workers tested positive for covid. i just got tested, but will not know the results until tomorrow. now fortunately i did not see him all this week, and i think i saw him sometime las week.....so hopefully i should be in the clear.....i guess we will know tomorrow.

My father passed away December 8th from Covid 19...
His heart couldn't take it anymore.
Sorry I'm just now posting but the last few days have been hell and his military funeral was today...

I'm so sorry, Danny. :( How are you holding up?

Military funerals are awesome, so it's nice to hear that's how he was buried, getting the recognition he deserved for serving his country.

Please take good care of yourself, do things that you find comforting, even if it's just sitting alone in your dad's bedroom. I did that after my mom died, and it was oddly calming, not upsetting as one might think.
