Find Kindle App

Good Afternoon,

I have downloaded the Kindle App to my Tab3 Tablet but cannot find it to complete the Install process.
A 2nd attempt to download produces the message that I already have the app.
Suggestions to locate the app would be gratefully received.

Does your file manager include a search function? I presume you've already looked in the downloads directory.

It would perhaps help if you told us how you downloaded it? Where it went to might depend on that.

The Kindle App was downloaded from the Playstore.

if you downloaded it from the play store, then it automatically installs it on your device. if you go back to the play store the app should say installed. and it should be in your app drawer.

Open your app drawer and scroll down until you find the app.
You do know what the app drawer is and how access it from your home screen?

And you will never find a download from the Play Store because it goes into a cache temporarily before being installed to the part of the internal storage that you can't access without root.

Yes, I have searched for' kindle' on 'the device' and the SD card without success, and there is nothing to show the app amongst the downloads.

I wouldn't be raising the query if 'kindle' appeared in the app list.

I have just solved the problem by downloading the app from the Galaxy Store. The app downloaded and installed automatically, allowing me to log in to my Amazon account and synchonize to my existing kindle library.
