well you actually did not say that this was inside vmos;)

according to vmos faq's, they are working on higher android os versions.
Will the android version of VMOS be higher?
It's already on our plan list.
We will upgrade Android 5.1 to higher version soon.
Keep an eye on our updates.

and just an fyi......this does not root your phone.

Android 11? There's an unstable "developer preview" for Pixel 2, 3 & 4 series, but nothing for any other devices for several months yet.

Rooted devices can be updated if someone builds a custom ROM for that particular device based on a newer version of android. Note the word "if". But that's talking about the actual OS, not a virtual machine - I suspect you are reliant on the app developer releasing an update based on a newer android for that, and if they really are still using 5.1 I'm not optimistic about that happening at all, never mind jumping to a modern version.

And now? If there is not a official way, can I update a system manually?

I'm going to test in a VM. If it works I'm going to madly try in a physical phone.

Also, I'm going to search and try some tests. Well I know you can add low level commands on Android terminal with C++. So I think I need to start updating this.

I think I should do a tutorial too.
