Why is the answer to every one's issue with their phone a virus?
It sounds more like hardware then software. Can you boot up at all? Or does it boot loop?

Problem cleared after running a couple of diagnostic apps. Don't know all that I lost, besides all my weather bug locations.
That's good to know. But keep an eye on it, because the Galaxy S8+ is getting on a bit, and so battery issues(like problems with charging) may happen sooner or later.
