Help Is it possible to bypass the lock screen

Hi I was wondering if anyone here might have some advice on how I might be able to get past the lock screen

I am trying to get into my dad's phone (Samsung galaxy J3 6) however it has a pin and I never knew it and the few guesses I have taken at what it might be were wrong

if anyone needs more info about the phone I will answer if I am able to find it

if there are companies that might do this preferably without charging that would be great also

the phone hasn't been used in years so no clue if that might affect anything

Unfortunately the whole point of the lockscreen PIN is to prevent unauthorised access to the data on the device. If you could simply bypass it then it would be pointless (and, let's be honest, the police/FBI/whoever would make much less fuss about being unable to get into suspects' phones). Basically, I don't know of any way to do this, and would not use a platform where such a way existed (and if I did have a solution it would be very dodgy to post it on the internet where any phone thief could find it).

(My solution to this is that my wife and kids know my PIN. That doesn't help you now, just something to consider should you wish to avoid leaving someone in this position yourself).

The only one we can discuss here in AF is to perform a hard reset. But this will trip FRP( factory reset protection) and you will need to know your father's Google account info. This will also erase data on the phone.
