Access all apps background button, [] will not function.

On my moto edge, I can figure out duration when I do always do the Drops app and after that, it seems so stupid to have it make the [] button on the main screen not function,
anyway how to clean it up and have it just prompt up as a funcitonal little button?

Oh on the desktop, there is to me a triangle, (Go back) A circle home, and a square most recent apps.
It is also my other cloud account that bugged it too.
 
IT happen again with my Terabox being still in the bg apps though, there is something really buggy about it. Anyone could help me and my moto edge plus out..
 
i'm still not exactly sure what your issue is. so the square is the most recent apps. this sometimes do not function at all?

See image below, when sometimes I press it, the entire screen freezes up and I cannot acess the background apps.

It was the cloud app that was ruining it completely, never trust Terabox ever again.

Yes, I download drops again and erased Terabox, made sure it was just that, and it seem to work okay.
Now I can easily access my background apps.
