Were you in the city or county when you did that speed test? I live like 5 mins from the city limits and I am wondering if its going to work in my area.

Just in the SW corner of the city between Shrewsbury MetroLink stop and Ted Drewes. I'm going to try to get out for a drive this afternoon and see where I get 4G service. Anywhere you'd like me to go?

I'm off Telegraph and Lemay Ferry down in South County if you make it down this way it would be awesome. If you don't make it down here its no big deal, but thanks for asking! I am getting excited about 4G in STL!

Test to another server in Chicago from St. Louis 3.3mbps

How about Lacelede Station and Big Bend, right down the street from the Shrewsbury metro stop? I live right there and it would be nice to have 4G at the house.

Yeah that likely means they're testing in STL but not officially live yet. I call it "phantom 4G", it's like that in DC too.

Clearwire just set up one of their towers right behind my work building. At the watson autocare plaza, behind the Speed Emissions building.

I had heard from a guy who took my Evo preorder a couple of weeks ago, that the 4G network in St. Louis was supposed to be live by July 4th. That would be very nice.

Strong at Watson AutoCare Plaza at new Clearwire installation!

Not sure why, but my test using 4G via WiFi hotspot to my PC I get higher speed test scores. Could be an issue with the speedtest.net app or with hardware or something.

Anyhow, here is a test using 4G via WiFi hotspot to connect my Win7 PC. 4.5mbps in South City St. Louis

since yesterday the speed is increasing for the download, upload is still around the same number. Hopefully by actual announcement date the numbers go up as high as whats been reported elsewhere in the country.

As for the signal at home, I got home too late and besides the forum was down anyway. so i did not take out my laptop to test at home.

I have a spreadsheet/image that I will upload later to the forum showing the 3g and 3g speedtests that i performed using my 3g/4g datacard/modemout in Baltimore, Oahu, Las Vegas since Nov, and now New York City

Can I ask where exactly you are getting 4g coverage from in NYC? Which borough are you in?
