Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

It's definitely worth a shot. The worst that can happen is they say no deal. If my package gets to my local FedEx facility in time I am going to try this method. Will report back if it works.
 
:D Received my tracking info today 5/27 12:03 ordered 5/12, on verizons website. I'm in southern illinois, and it is shipping from memphis, tn .
Says it will be here 6/1. Can't wait, seems like I have been waiting forever.

Fedex just delivered it. Installed my Seidio 1750 battery and on the charger at the moment. Also had the bonus 2GB memory card in the box with it. Swwweeettt

Just got my tracking number @ 1:55 from Verizon. Here are the details:

Ordered - 5/12 ONLINE
Ship Date - 5/27
Ship To - MI
Ship From - Memphis
Expected Delivery - 6/1

I am going to monitior it and see when it actually gets to the distribution facility up here. Hopefully it gets here a bit early and I can intercept the delivery before I leave this weekend.

BTW - my actual reference number bears no resemblance to the order or confirmation number.

Nice! Just got off the phone with CS and the chick was a total bitch! She said NO ONE was getting their phones early and they were all shipping out 6/1. Whatever. I'm still holding put hope it ships later today.
 
ordered 5/22 online and just got an email from verizon:

Your Internet Order Reference Number 100032XXXX has been completed and is pending shipment with our warehouse due to the back order status of the HTC INCREDIBLE handset. Your estimated shipping information is that your order will ship on or before June 11, 2010......

it sucks that i have to wait another 2 weeks but now i know when to expect at least... that's good thing i guess..

Keep checking. I ordered mine around 8:30 pm EST - they are probably filling them in order so if you ordered late too it might still ship today. If you haven't already called CS I would. They told me that mine was shipping today before I got the e-mail.
 
How does one check the status of an order when they purchased the phone from a Verizon store? What information from the store receipt is needed?

I hate the fact that I just checked out some Best Buy's and there is one that has the Incredible in stock that is less than 90 minutes from my house. I ordered on 5/15 and am sick of waiting. Guy at the Verizon store said that while it would ship by 6/1 or 6/2, most people were getting them within the week, some as soon as the next day! Lies...all lies....

I did call this morning and she couldn't tell me if it was shipping out today or not. Said the same "ship by" date bs
 
ok so i ordered in store 5/18 so i know i still have a lil bit to wait wich is no big deal but when the time does come to start watching closer i want to be prepared

is there any way to track order status online for orders placed in the store.

i have an order number and location number but when i enter the order number on VZW.COM it says there is no order on record for that number

any help would be appriciated
 
I actually have a different situation -- I called several times with service issues and was ready to cancel my service when they passed me to an escalation engineer. The engineer opened an incident ticket for me and also said he can get me any phone I want as part of the ticket. We decided on the Incredible.

That was on 5/10

I have called CS several times and they say that they see in the notes that I am getting the Incredible, but there's no indication of when the tech put the "order" in for the phone. They also say there's no tracking or order number, because that's generated when the phone is shipped (total BS, if there's no order number, how would they know to order the phone for me?)

It's really frustrating b/c I don't know when the stupid thing was actually ordered for me. Anyone have ideas how I can find out?

Standard Overnight

Looks like I just might get my DInc in time for the weekend!

FedEx just delivered myDInc to my office. It's in my hands now.
 
Just got shipping notice, shipping from Ontario, CA to Baltimore, MD...2 day.. I thought one rep said they are going to overnight, oh well will be here June 1...order 5/13 over the phone
