Has anyone read Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir? He is the author of The Martian and I understand they plan to make a movie out of his latest Sci-Fi.

I have not but I've just googled it, and it sounds like a good book to read.
I'm a sucker for a good sci-fi. For the last few years I've been reading war history... mostly WWII history. I'm due a good fiction. Loved The Martian and hope Andy's latest efforts are that good.
i have read it and and it is fantastic. i did not know they were making a movie out of it. to be honest you can't go wrong with any of Andy Weir's books. i have read all of his books. my favorite is still his 1st novel, "The Martian". i love the whole story behind it. he posted sections of his book as a blog post on his website. soon scientists, current and former astronauts, and physicists all started following his blog posts and chimed in on plausibility. and in the end everyone agreed that what has become the book, "The Martian", is scientifically possible.

apparently he is working on a new book. but this is from a reddit thread, so it is hard to say if this is true or not.
if you have not read Ready Player One by Ernest Cline, that is another suggestion....of course it is way better than the movie as most books usually are. but Andy wrote a fan fiction based on the book.
