What's for dinner ?

I'm fixing chicken stir fry tonight on the blackstone. It sounds great but it's way too hot to be standing over the blackstone. It's so seldom that the wife requests something so I will accommodate.

Last night we went out to eat at a local restaurant. I had a chicken fried steak dinner and the wife had a chef salad. Tonight I'm considering having a breakfast of some sort for dinner.

I was the sous chef (?) with My mother helping her with the meat and veggies stirring. Zuchini boats. from last night.

Had left over pizza, all kinds of veggies on it with everything, called "Papa's Favorite" at Papa Murphy's, the pizzas always last us throughout the week, and some veggies on the side, broc and Califlower.

Tonight, home made deluxe burritos. I'm thawing out a package of frozen pulled pork that I'll season with chili seasoning and some diced onion. I'll add some pinto beans and let that simmer. I'll make a cheese sauce with Velveeta and diced jalapenos and mix it with the pulled pork mixture in tortillas. I'll add tomato sauce to the remining bean and meat mixture to make a chili to pour over the top of the burritos before baking with a shredded cheddar topping. Trust me on this.... It will be some fantastic eats tonight!!!

Bro that sounds so amazing.

Last night we had smoked brisket point and smoked asparagus. I vac sealed half of my brisket and will make something with what was left over from last night. BBQ beef sandwiches, beef fajitas, or beef and noodles are the options that sound good right now.

Beef n noodles won the battle for using up the leftover smoked beef brisket. I diced up the brisket and cooked some regular egg noodles and added them together with some beef broth, beef gravy, and cream cheese. A little salt and pepper and garlic for seasoning and I was enjoying a simple comfort food out of my brisket.

The Boss Lady bought a couple or the Crimpet gizmos, so I took some leftover BBQ and Monterey Jack cheese and did the crimp.
Gonna take some getting used to them but I think that cherry pies are in our future.
That reminds me of my scouting days as a youth. We had what we called pie makers. Cast iron in two halves with long handles. Two slices of buttered and sugar and cinnamon bread with pie filling between pinched together and toasted in the camp fire. I found similar toasters as an adult and bought them so my kids could make pies on the patio fireplace. I think they still hang in the shed.
