If you've never seen an ordinary pot of plain water catch on fire ... you should meet my sister-in-law. I watched it happen and still can't accurately describe how on this green Earth she managed to make that happen. Then I refer to the sign she kept in the kitchen wall at the time:
"Dinner is ready when the smoke alarm goes off."
