Class Action Suit for 2.0

Ok well they said that them and T-mobile?

"Samsung Mobile and T-Mobile USA are planning to update the Behold II to Android 1.6"

So can I now blame them too and demand a free upgrade?

Hardware is more Diff. than what people would think.. There' s nothing that I've found that will work at this point

Well I hope My Buyer comes through. I really want this phone gone now. I will be a Samsung free home!!

We really only are missing the app optimization, Google maps 3.1.2, Bluetooth 2.1 and HMTL5 can those not be added to 1.6?

Good luck. I hope Mr Buyer does not google Behold 2 or he will change his mind. Oh FYI if you go to purchase a new phone on walmart they have a trade in program.......... Behold 2 is $93.01 trade in value.

signed up for what? there is no class action suit as no one is willing to step up and be lead plaintiff as i posted above that is the necessary first step.

already down to $91.01 in vegas and i'm sure it will fall fast now as the phone is officially worth nothing

Hello Behold II Owners

I am the editor at Androidheadlines.com,i just wanted to stop by and show my support for you all.I understand your situation and have lived it as well. Just because Samsung says 1.6 and that's it, you do need to keep applying pressure. You are their customers and the threat of unhappy customers is not something t-mobile wants and with enough pressure they will have to right this wrong.

My own personal experience came from almost the exactly same situation.I owned a Rogers HTC dream that was and still stuck at 1.5 OS.Customers became unhappy and applied pressure to Rogers and HTC.They said they would not update it and we continued with the pressure till finally Rogers understood how many unhappy customers it had and offered a limited time upgrade to the HTC Magic.Story does not end their, the HTC magic had only 1.5 as well and we kept the fight up and finally got Rogers and HTC to agree to upgrade the Magic to 2.1 OS.We have not received that 2.1 update as of yet but we plan to keep them to their word.

In my mind this is more about principal then the update. If companies think they can get away with this behavior now then this will become the norm.

I am willing to stand behind the owners of the Samsung Behold II and give them our sites full resources to keep applying pressure to Samsung and T-Mobile till a satisfactory resolution for Behold II owners is made.I wish you all the best of luck and to keep up the fight, you will win in the end!!

No way of hacking the 1.6 to make it emulate 2.1 and "trick" the marketplace into thinking its 2.1?

Yes that would work actually...also, you can upgrade your Windows computer by taping over the xp sticker with white tape, and writing "Windose 7" on it.

Seriously though, no. You can't. Won't work. This has been stated several places. It won't have necessary libraries/etc to make any of the 2.1 apps work.

This guy really gets it! Thank you so much for your insights and showing your support...very cool. And yes after my chat with tmo tonight, which went well, I think if we continue the fight in a respectful manner we will get a similar resolution

Are you fu**ing kidding me!? Yeah, "upgradeable" or not, they promised that shit. Don't make promises you can't keep! If it's NOT upgradeable, I want a spec sheet showing why. Regardless, this just made them even more in the wrong. We now finally got them to admit that it will not be released.
