What's the weather like where you are?

As I was doing my two-mile walk this morning, I thought popped into my head: I'd reset the 440V breakers at the HVAC unit, but not the 220V breakers at the panel. When I got home, I turned the thermostat off; went out and killed the HVAC breakers, then to the garage and killed those breakers. Waited a minute and turned things on in reverse order. HUZZAH! I put the instant-read thermometer down to the AC register vent and... 71 degrees! I immediately closed the windows (which had been opened since I woke up to help get some cooler air in); closed all the blinds to keep sunlight out; and the temperature has SLOWLY been coming down. It's now 4 PM and the house is down to 74 degrees... which tells me that while it's working marginally, it's not working optimally. After a weekend of involuntary sauna therapy, I'll take every drop in temperature we can get, though: especially since the Darling Bride hasn't slept all weekend and is going out of state in the morning for several days. She, more than, I, needs the sleep.
 
seventy four with 19 winds mph...Ahhhhhhh........And it is four pm, I took like two walks around the yard, one for getting the mail like early on from a few days ago and the other one, just to stretch my legs, I will need another one when fetching the mail again.....
 
They continue to edit my 10 day forecast. Now my forecast has a 70% chance of storms Wednesday and a 50% chance of storms both Thursday and Friday. We certainly don't need storms but we are desperate for some change in the current weather pattern. Maybe the storm systems will break this scorching heat.
 
The daily change in the forecast... The chance of rain remains for Wednesday but has been removed from Thursday and Friday. I'll be lucky to see any rain. Today's high is predicted to be 103°. That should just about be warm enough.
 
The 70% chance of rain today has been decrease to a 50% chance over night and into the early hours tomorrow. We'll be lucky if we get any rain. One hundred and three degrees is the predicted high today but only eighty one tomorrow. That will be a pleasant change, rain or no rain.
 
It actually rained some and more could happen. The clouds are broken so it is a hit and miss proposition. The best part of the .17" of rain is it dropped the temperature. The high this afternoon was 104° and now it is 75.4°.
 
It has rained a bit through the night and is still lightly raining. It's the kind of rain that we need. It is slow light rain that has a chance to soak in a bit vs running down the street. Only .60" has fallen since it started raining last evening but every bit helps. It has dropped the temperature into the low seventies. That's certainly a welcomed change as well.
 
It is a beautiful morning. Lots of deep blue sky and 65°. There is zero wind blowing but it is to come from the South later in the day. 88° is the predicted high for today and 91° tomorrow with another chance of rain. Hopefully we have turned the corner on the miserable summer we just survived.
 
It rained just a little early this morning. It only dropped .08" which isn't diddly but it also managed to drop the temperature again. It is now only 70° which feels wonderful. My kind of weather!
 
Today is starting out warmer than yesterday and the predicted high is ramped up as well. Looks like I'm in store for high nineties this week. There is a 50% chance of rain tomorrow. There is also a 50% chance of no rain tomorrow.
