Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

I ordered two for work on the 17th in store in San Diego and have not heard anything yet. The lady who sold them to us said 6/1 but they have been coming in sooner than the target date but so far no word on it.

It is a bummer that they charge you for the phone before they even ship it but I guess not much I can do about it now. I am hoping that they arrive next week.

Ugh, I;m at the beginning of my wait and I'm envious of everyone that ordered there's earlier in the month. I'm a 5/24 and I feel my kind won't the flood the thread until late next week. lol

LOL! Same here...5/24 over the phone order. Patience is a virtue that I lack. I just talked to Cs and they couldn't even give me the location code or reference #. Calling is pretty much useless. All we can do is wait. Although he did say that its possible to get it next week with the way their kicking em out. I certainly wont hold my breath. I'm as anxious as I was 5 months ago waiting for labor...baby was 4 days late...LOL!

Nice to see it getting closer and closer to shipping. Ordered mine in a store, though, so who knows. Any way to check the status of the order if it was done in-store?

My wife won't even stay in the same room as me right now. I think she wants it here more than i do

Upgraded from standard Alltel plan to VW data plan
was told I would have 2 day shipping - ended up being upgraded to overnight
Never received any email whatsoever even though I am the account holder and receive account updates

The wait is finally over. Was set for delivery by 3 today - arrived at 1 pm on the dot.

Now the wait until it's charged....

Then I have to figure out the activation thing. LOL

Mine is scheduled to be delivered on Tuesday, but they actually got it to my local facility this morning, got my package sorted and on the truck to be delivered today.... and then the driver realized that he was going to be too busy and wouldn't have time. *facepalm* So now I can't even go to pick it up, because it's being held hostage on the delivery truck. Haha, Tuesday it is, then.

As long as you have the tracking number, I think you can go pick it up after 5:00 pm from their facility.

As long as you have the tracking number, I think you can go pick it up after 5:00 pm from their facility.

A CSR told me that it would be more like 7, which is right before they close. She said that they were so backed up, hence the reason for deciding not to deliver my phone. So the truck likely won't get back any sooner. I'm planning on being out with friends then, so I can't pick it up.

I guess I can just jostle my schedule around for tomorrow and just pick it up tomorrow. It's a lot better than waiting until Tuesday, right?

Just got shipping notification e-mail. Ordered 5/14 online. Shipping from Ontario, CA to Tucson, AZ. Anyone managed to get Saturday delivery upgrade from FedEx yet? Or is it possible to pick it up directly from them on Saturday?

So apparently the day you order doesn't mean anything anymore to old big red...

They told me that ordered don't usually go through till the following day no matter what.

I ordered on 5/14 at 10 am because I wanted the order to go through on that day...

But when I called them today to find out whats going on, my order didn't go through till 5/15 and would be shipped for 6/4...

Grrr... So more waiting... Sigh...

Pretty sure that it can't be picked up unless it was already released for delivery - like on the truck. It was already posted on one of the forums that they sort the packages and cage them, so there's no simple way for them to go find it in all the mess. That's why they generally don't allow you to pick it up without it being put on the truck and/or at least one delivery attempt. You could call and ask since that never hurts.

Wow I got to say CS are a bunch of lazy assholes. I got my phone in today. They told me it would ship by June 1st. Wow, I called every single day asking for a tracking number or if it shipped. I bet you they didn't even look on the computer or dug anything up to really find out. They just went by what the website said by order date.

Seriously pissed. Anyways the phone is great I gotta learn it the thing has got me stumped with Swype so far, I am trying to get this thing working. I got it installed but cant figure out how to get it to work in messages. Got the tutorial working..

Just got the shipping confirmation for my phone ordered in store (Charlotte) around lunch time on the 15th. Nothing showing yet on the Fedex tracking page.

Shipping is standard overnight but I would be surprised if it shows up tomorrow.
