Mine is still sitting in Memphis but I am supposed to have it by 4:30 this afternoon. It is only a short flight to Charleston SC but its got me a little worried right now.
Mine went 2nd day air due by 7pm today. It's going to a business, so I imagine the fedex driver knows he will miss the date if he comes after 5.Mine has been sitting at Fedex 40 minutes away from me for 16 hours. It's still not on a truck or anything.Who knows what they are doing. It's supposed to be delivered today, but we will see what happens. I think they just like to make people nervous.
Anyhow, it sat in Newark, NJ from 10:35am yesterday until 4:00am this morning and it's still hasn't reached anywhere since it left. They better get this to me today.

I just got off the phone with Fedex. The website isn't showing it but he said it is on the truck for delivery. Looks like the tracking portion of their website isn't updating. I would recommend calling and talking to a rep (just press 0 when the stupid computer starts talking to you). They can tell you what's up.

Ordered in-store 5/14 (NJ). Just got the Shipment Notification. Fedex Tracking # is not in the database yet so I dunno if it's overnight or two-day or when it's expected to arrive. Hopefully the number will show up soon.
FWIW, the store told me orders paid for on 5/14 would ship "by" 6/3. So hopefully this is good news to some folks.

Ordered on vzw's site (new every 2 upgrade) on 5/16, shipping notice came today, 5/28, 10am EST. Free overnight shipping since I used the site. Tracking info not up on fedex yet, but god I hope they will do saturday delivery (living in downtown denver), or I have a feeling it wont be til tuesday because of the holiday.
ETA: yeah, called fedex-- delivery is tuesday. I'm gonna call verizon and see if they can get me saturday delivery since I've been waiting so long.
ETA2: the CSR from verizon says 9 times out of 10, once the order has been shipped and it's in fedex's system, they wont process the saturday upgrade, so it'd be a waste of money ($19) to add it. Guess I'm stuck til tuesday.

that's reassuring. Mine's supposed to be delivered today but on the site is still at my local sorting facility 45 minutes away for 7 hours.

Tracking isn't always accurate, so I think it would be in everyone's best interest to not freak out about it unless it doesn't get to you in the assured 2-day delivery time.

For anyone whose package says it's been in Memphis for an extended period, it's possible the tracking is off. However, Memphis is the main fedex hub where all the packages are sorted. If a package isn't overnight and gets to Memphis on the first day, it's likely going to sit there until it's ready to go out. Remember, the planes and trucks aren't constantly leaving for standard service... the magic happens during late night/ early morning.

I'm 5/18 too! Except I feel like I pulled one of those numbers at the meat counter, and the butcher is moving really slow because someone ordered 50# of extra lean hamburger, fresh cut. lol I did however receive a phone call from an EXTREMELY pleasant CSR today regarding the fact that they have given me 4 diff ship by dates and some serious attitude. She was going to offer me an extended battery and cover, but they didn't have any. So I ended up with a case and a dual charger for my troubles.

very good to hear that the 5/16 's started that means mine is just around the corner =) hopefully i get it by the end of next week or the beginning of the week after next week, i am a 5/21 (feels like one of those alcoholic counciling sessions "i am a 5/21 and i am an alcoholic")

Ha! That's exactly what I thought of. I ordered mine 5/17 btw.
Placed order on 5/15. Earlier this week, Verizon Customer Service representative said it should be sent out June 4th, overnighted.
Well, just received a FedEx shipment notification this morning:
May 28th, picked up (West Chester, PA)
Est Delivery Date: June 2 (central NJ)
"2 Day" Delivery Method (unfortunately long weekend is getting in the way, but hey - FedEx people deserve a few hours off once in a while, too!
