Motorola Q9M on Verizon...with a wifi card installed so I didn't have to pay internet fees at the time. Not being able to get mail all the time and only when on wifi...that got old quick!

Lasted me about 5 months before I dropped it from a ladder doing overstock... The initial fall from 15 feet was fine... 'till a forklift driver decided it would be funny to run over what he thought was a mouse running across the aisle.

I still remember the look on his face when he realized it was a phone...Priceless!

The hardest thing to get used to on the Eris has been the terrible calendar (compared with Palm), but Gemini Calendar plus some of the widgets out there have now almost caught up in functionality with Palm's DateBk

The Samsung Omnia (version 1)
Verizon's official iPhone killer, which you could do nothing to. I bought it with my $100 off, for $100. and after three month phone was selling for $75. When I got my Eris in Feb (a year later) the phone was selling for $29.99 lol
I hated the phone so much, but love my Eris Factory Reset 2.1

I also had a juke. For me I want the smallest phone possible. If all it does is call there is no reason it should be so big. The juke was the smallest phone of it's kind available. The eris was the smallest Android phone available, which is why I got it.

Here goes nothing:

For almost three years I worked for Cingular Wireless, so I changed phones about as often as I changed my drawers:

First phone was a Nokia 5120:

Then I bought a Nokia 8260:

After this, I picked up a Nokia 3360:

Then I tried out a Nokia 7160:

And I also tried a Sony-Ericsson T60d:

(This phone had great reception by the way)


I also played with a Nokia 8265:

All this before the first GAIT phone was released. I had one of those, too:

(This was the dual GSM/TDMA phone from Cingular)


I never got to own a v60t ever - my only regret.


I went without a cell for a few years after I left Cingular. Two years later I signed up for Verizon and the first phone I got was an LG:

The VX5200. Sturdy phone, but not so great on looks.

After this I got the Samsung u540:

I really didn't like this phone, but my wife did. The firmware always seemed to be shaky on this phone, though.


After this, I got an LG 8350:

Loved this phone. It had the looks and functionality. I would actually use one again if I could find it reasonably cheap locally.

After this I got a BB 8830 WE, Palm Centro, HTC Vogue, Omnia i910, Motorola Q9c and finally an Eris.


Oh, and I owned a Boost Mobile phone for a while for emergency purposes.

After this, I got an LG 8350:

Loved this phone. It had the looks and functionality. I would actually use one again if I could find it reasonably cheap locally.

My husband had this phone - great call quality, he loved it UNTIL the hinge cracked. Then he got a replacement from ebay and the same thing happened.
