Verizon plan question

Alright so i want to get the droid, and im wondering if this will work. Im 16 and on a family plan, i do not have data for my dare. Buuuuuut, i can pay the $30 a month for the data, how much will it cost me if i get it around christmas, it would be one year at that point, and can i do that? Add a data package to one line in a family plan?

you can add data for 1 line...no idea about price around christmas,it may come down.

as far as the 1 year thing...it depends on whether your on a 1 yr or 2 yr plan
 
would the data still cost the $30? i know theres tax and all but is that what it would cost? Im too lazy to run through vzws site to look it up
 
You can add data to one line of a family plan. It'll just add $30/month to the family plan.

As far as when you can get it, you'd be best to speak to VZW, they've been know to cut breaks depending on who you talk to. Also, if any line on the plan is up for renewal you can renew using that line (of course you'd have to talk with your family about that :D)

Saay for some stupid reason i have to get rid of the droid, could i cancel the data plan and go back to my crappy dare?

yes...data can be canceled at any time if you go back to a non-data phone
