Too eager to sleep!

Your'e a mess man lol. 4AM! Seriously if there is someone already there at that time, do me a favor and slap them in the face. But if theres not and you sit there for over an hour do me another favor and slap yourself lol.
 
If I am there at 4am and sit there by myself until 5 or after I will be slapping myself in the face just to stay awake.
 
For real.. Better bring some coffee or a 2 liter of mountain dew lol. If you dont get a phone today I will be bummed for you
 
If I get there at 4am and don't get a phone then I guess it just wasn't meant to be and 8 other people wanted it more than me.
 
If you get there and 8 other people are there then you just might turn into that "unsafe" character you mentioned before lol
 
Haha...nah, thats not me. I will come home and sleep for a few hours and go to work. I think what is motivating me the most is getting rid of this crappy Instinct that I have had for 2 years.
 
Nice! I had the Instinct as well and bought a Blackberry Tour off Ebay cause I was soooo tired of it so I know where your coming from. Your gonna be going from a Civic to a Ferrari man.

btw i'm starting to change my mind about going at 4am... i don't want to sit alone for 2 hours. i think if i sit in the car, i'll wake up to the rising sun. and realize that the evo's sold out.
 
I really hope I'm not wrong but I seriously doubt that there will be that many people as hardcore as you guys that DIDNT get in on the pre-order... Normal people wouldnt even care enough to try and get it the day it comes out.
 
hannah..how far are you from the store? Could you swing by and 4am and come back home if no one is there? I'm only about 5 minutes from mine so that is an option for me. I seriously doubt I will do that though.

mateo...civic to ferrari is right...the Instinct might not even be a civic
 
I'm about 10 minutes away, but on my way home I'll probably start to think that the moment I turned out of the parking lot... a mob arrived. So paranoid.
 
I've got a preorder so no need to run out at 4am, but I still can't sleep. I am spending my last night with my good ol' Touch Pro 2. It will be bitter sweet losing her, but I'm sure her sexier, slimmer cousin can keep me happy at night.
 
That is exactly why I won't leave either. I will just pull up the forum on my crappy instinct and keep on posting until I get in the store. The last hour or so has gone by pretty quick.

lol I'm so glad you guys are here entertaining me with your paranoia though. I have an appointment to pick up mine at 11AM and I'm on eastern time so its already 3:23am. If I were either one of you though I would go an hour before opening and no sooner. Seriously who the hell sits outside a store for a PHONE for over an hour before opening that wouldn't pre-order?
 
I'm sure there are plenty of people outside sprint stores right now. A guy on another forum posted that he was first in line at a Sprint store in NYC at midnight. Of course he has cops and police barricades so he is plenty safe.
 
no, i'm still here. i think i'll leave in an hour. i've finally decided i'd rather not stay in the car/wait outside for 2 hours by myself. (i feel the paranoia kicking in again... or maybe that's from lack of sleep?)
 
I think I'm still going to go at 4 or right around there. I will just sit in the car if I have to. I should have gone by earlier and see how lit up the parking lot was..oh well.
 
LOL...thats funny. I don't blame you for not wanting to wait alone. Do you know how many phones are available?
 
I only know that 6 have been pre-ordered. Although I was told that I should arrive at 5am to have a chance at getting one.
 
What makes me wonder is how many people the reps actually told that same thing to? I think I will kick myself if I get there at 4 and people beat me to the punch and I have stayed up all night. (paranoia? lack of sleep?) LOL
