Lol yeah I got mine at 7:30 this morning and have had nearly nonstop 'alone time' with it since then :D
 
I had my appointment at 9 but because I was porting numbers I couldn't even turn on the phone till 11. After that and Appbrain I just cant stop smiling!
 
hah I can't leave my house yet; its charging; but honestly not sure I want to until I get a case or something for this bad boy.
I'm afraid to put it in my pocket; I think it would eat its way out...

I can tell you this honestly-the wait is not better than getting the phone. I swear its just bloody well awesome. I plugged it up to my laptop and it ask straight away- Wanna Tether? I'm here to make your life easy; here let me take your shoes off

Think of your wait this way maybe....look at all the negative experiences today...not me, I was lucky...but things will get up and running smoother when you get to the store cuz Sprint's ass is on the line. By Wednesday, there may be even more issues that have cropped up and been addressed.

You really didnt want to have to leave today without the Evo....a lot of people did...and the same logjam will be rolling around the country all day it seems.

Way to think on the positive side. I will have to keep my self busy or just hope best buy has extras to give second shipment pre-orders or the second shipment comes in early!

Glad to see Im not the only iphone user jumping ship!

Really the only problem I have with it is the calender. It auto put ppls bday in there from facebook and so far I have not seen a way to differentiate my events vs fb events
 
got mine on the way to work and my mgr told me to put my toys away.. and then i asked her.. "which one?" she walked away with a grin on her face lol.
 
Got to play with the phone today. Have to wait another two months or come into some money quick to get it earlier. It is aswesome. Hope everyone enjoys it!
 
Wow- imagine puttin this phone out like the ipad...People would LOVE it...Apples stock falls; Steve buys a Prius....or am I just dreaming?
 
Holy crap...this thing is the mother freakin' shibizzle bomb! I walked out of Sprint at 830 and haven't stopped man handling it yet. Granted, this is my first "smart phone", but freakin' A!!! I have already added about 40 apps and can't stop...Pandora is rocking out my desk at work...hell, there isn't any work going on today, who am I kidding?

I am not thrilled that the 4G doesn't work at home or the office even though they are both WELL WITHIN the dipicted coverage area.

I am VERY, VERY, VERY glad I got up @ 5 AM to go wait @ Sprint. I was #9 and it took less than 30 minutes to activate and get out the door. The Sprint staff was AWESOME, the manager came by twice during the activation to make sure I was being helped and understood everything. They even had breakfast, drinks, and donuts. Sprint...For The Win!!!

Sorry to all those that are stuck in "network is down, can't activate" world.
