Use 2 different text messenging clients

Is there a way to make the text messages from only certain people go to lets say handcentSMS instead of the standard messaging area?

I checked the settings and I dont think its possible.

yeh im using handscents
so when people message me they go to both messaging programs? (standard and handscent)

Handcent pulls it's info from the stock messaging app. As such it is a necessity that they also arrive in the stock messaging app.

Handcent can auto retrieve messages on its own. It doesn't need the stock messaging app. You can cancel auto retrieve messages in (standard and handcent) each application.

There is no option for individual message retrieval.
