Accessories W.T.F. Seidio??

Look at this case they made for the Evo. Where is the Incredible's version? I mean W.T.F???:mad:

seidio has an established track record for expediting product development for some phones over others. the evo had a lot of hype and therefore seems to be getting the most attention for now.

for example even though the incredible has been out longer...the evo cases were ready at almost the same time the phone was released and there's a larger selection while incredible owners waited, the evo has a dock already and the incredible doesn't, there are media cables for the evo and none for the incredible...it's actually a pretty long list.

The reason is that the phone had an official unveiling at ctia, it allowed accessories manufacturers access to specs and measurements, where as the Inc. wasn't officail until about 3 weeks before launch. Long story short manufacturers have known about the evo for a longer period of time giving them more time to r&d produce and distribute.

You're selling that seidio only had 3 weeks warning about the incredible and that's why products for the evo were developed and released first? I don't buy it, but ok...

I'm not only referring to the incredible vs the evo though. The same thing happened with some of their other products i.e. the slim extended battery for the nexus and the incredible being released before the moto droid eventhough those phones came out later. As a matter of fact the moto droid slim extended battery still hasn't been released yet.

I do think they prioritize some products before others regardless of release date.

I'm not selling anything, it is/was known that when certain members of this forum contacted certain manufacturers about products their reply in general was that they had no info on the inc and couldn't specify when or if they were releasing products for it. And I personally believe that phones for verizon are intentionally kept in the dark to allow VZW to sell their accessories right away giving them a head start in the accessory race.

That's cool. I personally believe that seidio and possibly other manufacturers prioritize their development based on perceived/expected popularity and or through contact with phone manufacturers directly. Fortunately we're all entitled to our opinions.
 
Seidio should have developed these across the board for the new phones that are successful on the individual carriers:

Verizon- HTC Incredible
Sprint- HTC Evo
AT&T- iPhone
etc...

It just makes sense. C'mon Seidio! I'd be ALL OVER this if it was made for the Incredible. The cases thus far for the incredible are boring and generic, neither of which suits the Incredible at all.
