Attention Mac users: You WANT DoubleTwist

Hey all,

I'm new to Android and the forums. I just wanted to make a quick post for fellow Mac users. If you're looking for an easy way to sync your music, pictures, and video with your Android phone, give DoubleTwist a try. It even has the Amazon music store built in!

Just downloaded and installed it, created an account, but while Eris is plugged into a USB port (tried several) it's not showing up as a mounted volume in doubleTwist.

Have you tried : Plugging in the USB to the computer -> Drag down the Notification box from the Top {on your phone} -> Click mount ?

That did it. I just figured it mounted itself like any other storage device, but it did not. Thanks!

Just discovered another oddity, though. You can't choose ringtones or anything you upload from your computer to be the sound notification for SMS text messages. The only thing that works are the included goofy tones that come with it. Bummer.

You need to download an app off the market called "Rings extended"

After you downloaded it -> Go to change the tones as normal -> Select "Rings extended" when prompted -> You can now choose your Music etc as a ringtone

Works perfectly...thanks! After 10 years with BlackBerry I have to start all over again
