Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

FWIW i just got off the phone with a CR and they said that anything they took payment for on the 5/28 & 5/29 will ship by the 18th at the latest, which was the original date i was given when i ordered in store. This seems like a pretty accurate timeline, so i am actually hoping to have the phone in hand by the 18, maybe even the 17th *crosses fingers*

Well, if does happen to actually ship on the 18th, then you might get it on the 19th or 20th. I don't really understand how they're shipping out orders anymore.

I am on a family plan and marked no texting on the plan change, then called VZW and asked. They said the only thing that would change is my adding the Data Plan and to call when I get the phone in to set that up. So I'll see on Monday when my phone is supposed to come in to see how easy/hard to set up plan from Amazon is.

she said 18 by the latest, which is a friday so in that case i'd have to wait til the 21st, but most people have had their phones shipped a day or 2 before their stated date, hence hoping for 16 or 17th for ship!
 
I ordered mine on 5/29 at 12:05am...LOL.. A couple of days ago when I spoke to a CS Rep I was told that it would ship by 6/19. Then in an email that I sent, they responded with a date of 6/21 as the latest date it will ship. I am hoping to be lucky like some here and have it ship a day or two early because I would like to have it by next Friday if not then more than likely it will arrive the following Monday and I will have to take off work, as I will be waiting at my door for the fed ex guy like a crackhead waiting for his dealer....LOL

I just saw on-line that they've pushed the ship date back to 7/9. I'm ticked. I'm eligible for a new phone in a week, but I don't think I want to wait a month or more for my phone to ship so I may look at something else.

Holy crap - I have to tell you I refreshed the page and stupidly was taking a sip of coffee while it loaded and I just spit some out onto the keyboard - that was great!! Thanks for the late afternoon laugh

Ordered May 22nd and received my phone June 10th. Ordered online from Verizon. Anybody else get a 2gb card in the phone? Mine shipped with one in the phone and one packaged separately. Should I be worried that this is a returned unit?

Anyway, so far this phone is loads of fun! I hope the rest of you waiting out there enjoy yours when they arrive as much as I am!

You're stuck with the phone for 2 years, get a good phone, i.e. the DINC. It's not worth it to get phone that's not as capable just to have it a month earlier.

That's one of the promotions they started due to the backorder - you get the card in the phone and one extra. (A lot of people posted about it so I wouldn't worry)
 
Anyone know if there is shipping notifications going out on the weekends? Im a 5/28 looking to get it in my hands by wednesday at the latest.
