Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

Yea, they told me that they will send me Fedex email to notify me about my package being shipped out. STILL WAITING!!

Now, I am having second thought abt DROID X!

I've had a Storm for about 18 months now and I've had less than 10 freeze ups in that time.

My only real problem with it are the random resets when I take a phone call while tethering, end the call and attempt to establish the connection if it's dropped.
 
Ordered mine from my local bestbuy store June 7th, and it's ready to pick now, on the 14th.

And I'm only paying $150 for it.

Edit: just kidding i just called back and i think it's overnight because i ordered during the overnight promotion. I think that the other rep was full of shit. i didn't really trust her so i called back and the lady was like didn't you just call earlier today and i was like uhh yeah maybe. that was a little awkward. but i better have overnight shipping and it better ship out tomorrow or i'll be so pissed.

I've always been a patient person but I can go on no longer.... This samsung alias is killing me my "a" and "s" keys dont work and my battery is draining faster then BP's pipes these days. My SGP CC and Seidio are here and now its the final stretch of the waiting game ordered 5/28 so its safe to say I am pretty damn close to having mine.
 
I was so freaking excited that my phone would be coming in before expected. only its STUCK IN PORTLAND! FU FEDEX!!!! I can only assume they are waiting to put it on a truck till tomorrow and have it to me tomorrow night. oh well, I still think the wait is going to be WELL worth it.

So now I get to spend all day Wednesday waiting anxiously for my phone to come in!
What's strange is that the reference number trick didn't seem to work for me, even though it's the *correct* reference number. Searching by the ref number just shows "Not found", but searching for it via tracking number works perfectly.
 
WOOT! Got mine a few hours ago. It is deffintly worth the wait. Amazing little device...

Not sure what this means to those of us who have already ordered... but I ordered June 7th online (After Apple's failure to announce iPhone on Verizon - so about 4:00PM) and the site told me 6/28 shipping (estimate).

That was a week ago.

I've just checked the Verizon site to see what they're saying now... and they say 7/12!

So, a week has gone by since I ordered, but shipments (estimates) are two weeks later.

Wish they released sales numbers.

Ok. ordered in store on 5/27, and i got my tracking number a minute ago. not sure what the deuce kind of delivery i am getting, i bitched a csr for overnight, but he sounded insane so we'll see....

Your the only person i have encountered to date that hasnt had this issue. Is yours the storm 2? or another type? 9500?

sorry, poor timing by the TV...anyway...

My biggest issue with the Storm hasn't been freezing as much as data transfer issues. I'll try to load web pages or especially web radio feeds in the browser and no data will move until I do a pull. Recently it's been pulling a trick where none of the lower buttons work; pressing the Gmail button, for example, highlights the clock or wireless signal controls at the top of the phone. Only once or twice has it white-screened or frozen, but there have been a number of other slowdowns or data issues that have required a pull.
 
Ordered 5/29 in vw store. And haven't heard anything since. I have called 2x and all they will tell me is that it will ship by the 18th. Also told me that they can't switch from 2day to overnight shipping. I just want my phone.
