Hey all!

I am new here. I have been a LONG time Blackberry user and diehard VZW subscriber. I wont leave them, at any cost.

Anyway, I just upgraded my Tour 9630 (bought on release day, last summer) with a Bold 9650, and I am seriously disappointed. I want something new, something fresh that will grab my interest and satisfy my gadget needs. So....it is time to switch over to Android, and this device seems to have grabbed my attention. I am going to return the Bold in favor of this puppy and I cant wait for Wednesday!

I plan to spend much time on here between now and Wednesday, and even more after the X gets released. Do you think the final name will be the Droid X? I am guessing so since it is on the VZW teaser site with that name.

I am currently on a Tour too. My husband just swapped carriers because of a service issue in the town he works in. He got a droid hero. I got tired of watching all the cool things his phone could do. What is so bad... he doesn't even know/care/want to use it to its full potential! he was the same way with his BB. He HAD to have one but didn't even use email! WTF?!

I am ditching BB ASA this phone is out.

Yeah that confirms it, I like that feature even though I still use Pandora. I always say the more features I have the better, even if I don't always use them.

I saw that it's not going to be a world phone, is this true? That's really not good for me cause I travel at least once a year and would like my phone to work in the Bahamas. But I love the fact that this phone will have motoblur, I'm excited and can't wait . But bombed that it won't be a world phone?????

It wouldn't be surprising is it's not a world phone. I doubt it will be, they'd have to make room for a sim card.

The X....I plan on getting it, and will take the full 29 days to decide if imma keep it. The size will obviously be the deciding factor.

One guy at another site that has one said he only posts info after a device has been officially announced. He said he did it with the Inc too. Some of us at another forum has been hounding this guy the past 2 days....lol

I was on the sprint network years ago and it dosn't have sim and I was able to use my phone out side the country.
