*** Official Motorola Droid X Pre-Release Thread***

The rumor mill is reaching it's peak the day before the announcement :)

I hope to find a live stream, or at least a live blog, of the conference tomorrow. On a side note, I "watched" a live audio stream of Apple's WWDC 2010 on justin.tv, what a waste of time.

REPORT: Surveillance confirms all Droid X have dispersed. Each one is in a separate site.

I'm going to go ahead and say that we might be getting this earlier than usual.

Omg, this deserves its own thread but i'll put it here first! Just got off the phone with my local verizon store and they said that they are getting them in tomorrow and they're going on sale immediately!!!

Don't get me wrong I appreciate the extra info provided in a video like that, but what the heck was that shot on...must have been a crappy cell phone camera?

Just called mine and they deny they have any info on it yet. Can you post the number to your store?;)

Funny, the title says July 21st, but at the end of that article it says it will be released on June 21st. What is up with all the typos everywhere we look?? Proofread people! lol.

I have question, Im currently under 2 year contract with verzion since february, can I buy full retail price for Droid X without contract extention ?

no matter what plan im on ?

Yes you can buy any phone at full retail price without a contract extension. If you are going to use it though you will need to get a data plan, just thought I would let you know.
 
Ok, called back the same store and this time they said they were announcing it tomorrow and their shipment was coming in on friday...hmmmmmm
