Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

The crazy thing with this phone....I read the specs, read reviews, saw lots of pics - but until last week hadn't even seen one up close. I have a serious problem with wanting cool electronics to play with.

lol....I played with it several times in the store and then the day we went to added my mom and upgraded my daughters I was all set to get my Incredible but when she said it would not even come in till the 24th (which has changed 3 times...lol) I was like.....man get all ready to get it and then go home with nothing...lolol...I guess that is what I get for playing with it!

+1 Been lurking at verizon store just to play with the incredible:D.
Also a 6/2 here SHIP BY TODAY!!!!!! I WANT MY SHIT!!!!
 
I tried to call into the store I bought it from to check my process date (purchased on the 9th), but just ended up more confused...

All I know is it's supposed to ship before Christmas. :)

so i ordered 6/2 and today is supposed to by my ship date. well, i called and the CSR said that it might not ship for another week. I told her if thats the case imma be royaly pissed. shes like im sorry, ill make a note on the account to ship it ASAP.

has anyone added the "Private sales event" 50 dollar savings after they bought the phone? I just read the email and asked her about it. she just made a note on my account. is that all they can freaking do? Im sure i have 12 pages of notes on my damn account.

sorry had to vent.

Is is really that much slimmer once you put a protector on it? No wait on the moto droid but I still have to deal with verizon CS.

I will be dialing 611 again in an hour or so for an update. I wonder what country I will get?

Don't know if you've read back in the thread but we have proven that the CSR's in general have NO IDEA WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT. That being said - at least give it to the end of today before you get too pissed - shipping notifications have been sent between 2 and 6 pm (that's what people have posted anyway)

I added the $50 savings when I ordered on 6/7. I think the 2 day shipping is for all of us that got the $50 savings.
I wonder if they track how many times we call for updates?
 
yeah i know that they have no idea what they are talking about. but I work in the customer service field for Home Depot and if i cant confirm a ship date with a customer i dont make up a date. especially oh it will take another week when i have no idea how long it will take.

anyway thanks for the information. Ill keep trying the fedex trick and ill stop by the store i bought them from later today.

good to hear that there is still a chance, hopefully now they ship it overnight like they have said.

All the VZW reps know is what list they are given from corporate. It's worth calling if it's your ship date, but don't expect any answers until the afternoon.

The other day I was at a VZW kiosk and they had a working Dinc on display. I played with it for a bit and then offered the guy $200 for it without the box or charger. He said that that wasn't his only offer that day. And the the guy had the nerve to take out his Dinc and show me how cool it was. Anyway, the point is that the CS rep yesterday told me that VZW employees don't get a shot at backordered devices until all customer orders have been fulfilled. So why did that kiosk worker have one??? Pretty sure it was a premo store and not a 3rd party seller.

There are a couple of the reps that have them - I think the difference is whether or not you work for a corporate store. And even then they probably just have someone in their family or a friend order it and then do the number switch. Sneaky f*ckers
 
I just received my shipping notice, however, I can't pull up any info at FedEx. This is pure torture. I've tried the fedex trick and the tracking number no luck! I think i'm getting closer to my DINC.

That means they have it packaged - now its time for that FedEx man to do his job, get the damn truck to the warehouse and get your DInc on the road!

Actual Ship date: june 23rd
Estimated arrival: idk it doesnt say my tacking number online so help?
mY LOCATION: florida
Shipping location: new jersey...
FML.. so as soon as i leave for florida it ships =.=
 
Hopefully, the earlier notices we are seeing today mean the "BIG" shipment did come in. Maybe there is renewed hope for me getting my Dinc before the weekend. I'm a 6/5 r.
