*** Official Motorola Droid X Pre-Release Thread***

You should qualify since your upgrade is for November of this year.

I really hope so, I used my wife's upgrade when I got the Incredible and was going to let her use mine. She just told me she didn't want it and to use it if I could. This is would be awesome, would save the money I sold my phone for and would use it for me and her to go shopping since she is not taking the upgrade.

I'm not sure about that it did state specifically that any CONTRACT ending in 2010 can upgrade. Don't want to crush your hopes, but I would take everything literally coming from these guys.

Yeah that is what is worrying me, I am not sure, I am sure that I could get Verizon to hook me up. I mean my contract ends January 2nd 2011, and I am eligible in November, I think they will help out.

Well since VWZ has the new every 2 program and you are eligible for a upgrade before your 2 yr contract is up I think they'll allow it, if there was no NE2 then I would say you would have to wait until Jan 2, 2011.

I'm eligible for my upgrade now, although I won't get my $50 off until Aug. 18 (new every two) and my contract doesn't end till 12-2011. Think they would give me the $50 off a month early so I wouldn't have to wait?

if you google droid x the link in the yellow box at the top its on there.. but nothing bout pre ordering or anything... =|

Wish we had pre-order details,....

I have 2 iphone 3g's to Ebay, and I have Verizon sales ready for me to pull the trigger for the number port, then off to call att and oh my its going to be such a wieght lifted off and pure enjoyment to tell them to STICK IT!, ;)

I probably won't be able to get it this year :(. My Eris is dead. I got it back in December and renewed my contract.

4.3-inch 854 x 480 handset features Android 2.1 with an all-new UI skin, a TI OMAP3640 processor galloping along at 1GHz, HDMI out, 8 megapixel camera with dual LED flash and 720p video capture, and 8GB of onboard storage with expansion of up to 32GB

@DroidLanding Here’s how it goes. You find a Droid X out there. You pick it up. You turn it on. And everything changes.

I'm impressed with shutter speed on the camera and the super slow mode on video. This will be a nice little toy for the next year.
