Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

Haha, you would think that with the longest suffering people rotating out once they get their phones, this thread would keep a pretty constant tone, but this is not the case. It is like we just pick up where the lucky few left off, and the impatience increases and everyone remaining continues the steady march to insanity.

If it's marked as 'home delivery' that may be the case. BUT....as soon as you have tracking call FedEx and have them put a note in that its a business and your hours.

well when i ordered it from verizon, i told the sales rep at least 3 times that i was giving her my work address, and i had her repeat the address to me 3 times, so hopefully she was kind enough to mark it as a business delivery

This is a real obscure reference, but I'm picturing the Uncle from that movie One Crazy Summer who is trying to win the call in contest with the local radio station. In the end he ends up launching a RPG and blows up the radio station because he lost.. anyway I digress.

hopefully verizon keeps their promises so that "certain" people won't have to resort to RPGs

Strange ! I ordered online early 6/11 and at that time the website said ship by 7/2 ! Really hope I get it next week ! Hope you get it next week too !

How bad is it that when I leave work I am sad cause I won't be able to check the thread till all the crap at home (dinner, errands, bedtime for child) is done??? I miss my fellow hostages during that time.
 
The suffer is over my phone has shipped hopefully the fat little Fed Ex guy gets it here before the weekend. Im a 6/4 its been fun in the insane asylum.

its drivable for me too - a bit of a long drive but doable!! leave a note on your door for the fedex man - by the time we get to nmayer's he should have his phone. lol.
 
well i ordered mine on 6/12 in store and was told it would ship june 22 .Called verizon today And they said the store was wrong it wont ship til july 9 And and be at my house no later than july 12 wow this sucks
 
Finally!!!!

order date: 6/1
ship by date: 6/22
received shipping notification email: 6/23 1:48 pm
delivery date: ? probably tomorrow, FEDEX having online tracking issues.

i will let you know if it's true that the package was sent overnight or 2 day.

You know, after reading all these posts, I almost feel guilty about getting lucky and having my droid ship after only a week and a half...
