  • well now go to the market and delete bootstrap then do a factory reset as i shown you and you should be good ,if not let me know and we will try to figure it out,,,,sorry if i didnt respond so fast ,my college semester just started and its nuts between that and work lol
rite on.. so u play black opts... n can you send me more themes or somewhere to get them from lol like i said you have been the biggest help!!!!
so how do i put new theme on where its not bad.. you know i dont want to mess this one up....
awesome!!!!...ok how did you try to install the themes.....first make a backup of the rom before you theme it(this way when you want to switch themes you restore your rom backup and install your new theme...theming over another theme is bad)after you make your rom backup download your theme go into recovery and
    install zip
    choose zip
go to wherever you put the theme on your sd card(more than likely from your browser so it would be downloads)
    and install then reboot
there is a file in the tbh app called hotspot patcher....download it to your phone from the tbh app...after it downloads go into recovery(same way i showed you before)
once in recovery select install zip from sd
    choose zip from sd
    scroll to the tbh file
once in the tbh file you will see the hotspot patcher you downloaded...install it
    once done reboot
once rebooted go to the hotspot app and set it all up(password etc)and then try to ru your ps3 from it ,,,it should work
also about the ps3 tether...im not sure if it will work but you could try...if it does not work you can always use the 3g hotspot which is a little better then wireless tether since it supports for more devices and wireless tethr only supports ad-hoc....for the hotspot though you will have to buy the tbh app from the market and inside of it it has a file called hotspot patch...to install it just download to your phone go into recovery(same way i taught you before)and choose install zip
    choose zip
scroll to the tbh folder on your sd card
    select hotspot patcher
    let it install and reboot
open up hotspot and set up your password and then hook up your ps3 connection to it
    also friend request me bro...gmenfan83
lol your not being a pain bro,,,like i said i like helping,,,,,i like nexolution theme myself but here is a link to all apex themes with instructions and there is also a tron theme i will give you a link to
themes:Themes For ApeX (12/19/10) - Droid Forum - Verizon Droid & the Motorola Droid Forum
tron theme: Tron for Apex - Droid Forum - Verizon Droid & the Motorola Droid Forum
black and white chrome is just a theme for the rom that you can install after you install the rom itself,to backup
    open bootstrap loader app
select bootstrap recovery(hit yes when says success)
    select reboot recovery
once in clockwork recovery select backup/restore
    lselect backup
let it do its thing then when done which it wil tell you when done just reboot
before i tell you to back up have you done anything like remove any blur apps or bloat(blockbuster, city id etc)or deodex or have you just rooted??also yes i have used every version of aoex and lloooovvveee all of them man ,,,i wouldnt reccommend if not,i have tried almost every rom out for the x and i always go back to apex, and yes its apex 1.3.1 and every now and then my phone does boot into recovery if i pull the batt and reboot ,,why this happens i have no clue but you should not be alarmed or let it stop you ,,,,,its really no big deal
no thank you you wanted me to dowload fabolous apex 1.3.1 rite .... n i never backup after i rooted how do i do that one lol im really sorry 4 bugging you...
also remember since you have to wipe data you will have to set your phone up just as if it came out of the box(i suggest wiping data and so does the dev of this rom)...once you getpast setting up your phone just open your market and all of your apps will restore through the google cloud..just give it a few minutes(wififor this also)and if you have any questions after or want any blur apps back you can either ask me or refer to this page here:Main Page - FabDroid Wiki
not a problem man....ok restore the backup you made right after you rooted...once restored and your x reboots download the rom on your phone(good to do so on wifi)ok once its done downloading just open up your bootstrap app and press bootstrap recovery(after it says success hit yes
    now hit reboot recovery
once in recovery go to wipe data and wipe it then cache(if you have any important data you want like texts etc you can backup up using titanium or another backup program prior to wiping although i dont restore data and dont encourage it)
once data and cache are wiped go to install zip from sd
    now choose zip from sd
scroll to downloads(or wherever you downloaded the rom to on your sd )and select it
scroll to your rom and select it
    select for install
let it do its thing then reboot
    and thats it .....
no problem man ....and your not dumb just careful,,nothing wrong with that ....if i were you i would flash apex 1.3.1..its a great stable rom
to be honest i cant properly answer this...im not sure what makes it do this ,,,sometimes mine does and sometimes it wont,,,but dont be alarmed by this its really no big deal if it boots into clockwork just select rebooot
one more question lol is gonna b normal or everytime i turn it off or on is it gonna go into recovery mode?
finally for the links ,,,notice its in 3 seperate messages since just 1 is too long to send

go to app drawer and open koush bootstrap
hit bootstrap recovery(prompt for success hit yes)
now press reboot recovery and this will take you into clockwork recovery
in clockwork recovery you use the volume rockers to scroll, the camera button to select and the power button for back
    ok scroll to backup/restore
    choose backup
let it do its thing ...when it says finished(take about 5 min)hit back and select reboot
thats it now you made a nandroid backup
