On my last phone (rooted Jelly Bean), Llama tasked my locations via cell towers. On unrooted Marshmallow, it only knows my whereabouts when I have GPS on. Any idea how I can fix this?

I'm not rooted. I have ES FILE EXPLORERS and RootExplorer. Neither can create a folder on my SD card. How do I grant them permission?

Darn marshmallow seems to quickly force the user to select a default app for each function (browsing, photos, music...). Once that's done, the Share functions completely avoid the other apps. Are there any good work arounds?

My 2.5 year old Galaxy 4S (I545VRUEMK2) has recently started locking up dead. Often right after it has had little use (charging, sitting on a counter, pulled from a pocket, etc.), it refuses to turn on without the battery being pulled. The buttons occasionally light and the phone occasionally...

I recently rooted with safestrap on my stock 4.3. Since installing MW Manager, periodically the app locks up or ends abruptly with the message "com.sec.android.app.FlashBarService has stopped". Any idea why and how to fix this?

I am not too keen on KitKat's restrictions. Is my stock Verizon I545 with version 4.3 (Knox) rootable?

After reading Google's added constraints on the SD card with KitKat, as well as a few GPS issues arrising, I'm a bit fearful of the upcoming update to KitKat. Am I alone? For those that are apprehensive of it, will you go with it or will you refuse to update?

Do you use it? Which toggles do you use? Does it only kick in at a low battery level or is it activated as soon as it's toggled ON? PS I meant to post this in the SGS4 forum.

Since 4.3, my auto scren brightness seems to be too dim much of the time. It used to be quite good. Anyone else experiencing this?

When I conclude a phone call, I get a screen with a cartoon image of the caller and two choices: Call and Text. I find this screen a nuisance; it causes an extra delay for me to get the call over and turn off my phone. Is there a way to stop this "feature"?

It seems that every time I power-cycle my phone, the default screen timeout get reset to 10 minutes. Is there a way around this?

Over the past week or two, my phone has spontaneously disconnected my SD Card. Then, it issues warnings for missing apps/files/pics (those I had moved to SD). Finally, it reconnects on its own and finds the missing stuff. I don't know if the update caused this or if it never reared its head...
