Root [Verizon] HELP..Can't sync after safestrap root!

I was on (unrooted) 4.3 and a coworker rooted me with safestrap. It seemed fine while on 4G, but once I got home on Wifi, I couldn't sync to my Google accounts, Dropbox, Amazon, My Backup Assistant, weatherbug ... On 4G, My Backup Assistant sync only 7 contacts (I've got around 1000). On 4G, the services seem to sync except for contacts. Last night, I backed up via My Backup Pro and did a force hard reset (pain in the butt). It seemed OK after that but then, after work when I got back on Wifi, it reverted to not syncing. HELP!!!!!

Some improvement... I remembered that I had a non-root ad blocker on which redirected my WiFi host/proxy. I removed that setting and now many services (Play, Amazon, Gmail) sync. However, no contacts are syncing and ES crashes when I try to access any of my cloud storage even. From in the dropbox app, and on my desktop, Dropbox syncs in both directions...not from my phone's account syncing, though.

You need to enable the sync . do this from the setting scroll down to Google sync and box sync account sync . and you need to check your unchecked boxes

All the Google services except contacts and tasks can sync. Amazon and Dropbox and Backup Assistant pro can't.

Now, all Google services except contacts sync. Also, Backup Assistant syncs but with zero contacts. The Cloud services are not syncing. Is there a way to reset my Google Contacts Sync without a Forced Hard Reset? I have ~1100 of them on my phone but it won't sync 'em.
