When my android is locked i don't get notifications from an app (kik messenger) I have to go into the app to check for messages and because it is similar to msn it's very frustrating to do that. My wifi setting isnt set to sleep when phone is locked, i have good signal strength, no app killers...

Is it normal for an android phone to use 120kb of internet in under a minute? I know its not alot but should it be using it that quickly? its my first android so im just checking thats okay. I was on facebook for under a minute and, like i said, used 100kb. My phone also used 200kb in a minute...
