  • so far the rom is running good. battery life is going down a little fast. hopeing it needs to get use to the rom. I found the /system/etc/init-d file. it was set to 1150000 and defulted to 600000. i changed it to 1.15ghz but no frills is still showing 600. Do i need to be running the kernel 1.0 or is there somethign eles i need to change. i have no loaded the kernel1.0 yet but i have it on the sd card to load.
As soon as I can download the kernel source I'll play with the OC inside it, along with voltage control (not sure about that one yet). I'm not exactly sure how Anthony's script works, but while I was running it, it seemed to work. As for the space issue, go into SManager and set the script "dalvik-move" to run as root and to run on boot, then run:
    adb shell
    #busybox killall system_server:

That will force a quick reboot. SManager should run the script, moving your dalvik to the /dev partition.

    OOPS! I meant init.d, not init.rc... :hmmmm:
In the init.rc folder (/system/etc/init.rc), there are normally two scripts (3 if you're running my rom). Open the script "cpufreq" in a text editor (one in the system will work). This is how I changed the speeds. My device became unstable above 1.15ghz though. How's my ROM working for you by the way? I'm playing with anthony's kernel and a different oc script with it's own module.
