I've got 5 images that I want to quickly crop and post on imgur, but I can't seem to do it. Looks like I'll have to "edit" them with the crop tool.
Here's what I did:
I used the S-Pen and chose image clip. Then, I drew my square around the part I wanted, and my only options are to save in...
I registered my Note 4 in the beginning of January. I was given a coupon code to save 50% of any accessory under $49.99, but the MHL 3.0 cable was on back order. Well, I got my email last night that they are back in stock, so I ordered one and used the code. However, the next thing surprised...
So I've got 41% battery left, meaning I've used 59%.
Phone shows 4 hours 15 minutes of screen use accounting for 27% use.
Here's my math, is it correct?
.27 x .59 = .159
.159 / 4.25 = .037 (or 3.7%)
I keep it on auto, and haven't been in bright light much today.
This seems very impressive...
Since the fitness app keeps track of the steps I've taken, does the Note 4 ever reach a state of deep sleep? I like the pedometer idea, but I also wonder if my battery life would flourish more if I disabled it. Also, by how much more?
My old windshield mount will actually just fit my Note 4 when naked, but as thin as the Note 4 is, there's some extra room depth-wise. It will not fit it with a case however.
When shopping for windshield mounts, I see that many list the Note series of phones, but as stated, my old mount will...
I made 7 homescreens for my Note 4, and after I rebooted (well, I let the battery run out and it forced reboot) 2 of them were gone. One of them had my music widgets on it, so I know it wasn't an empty page. I can't remember what the other one had.
Any ideas?
VZW Note 4.
I'm not that big on the rooting scene. I do what I need to when I need to, and then I drop off for months before something draws me back in.
Well, that damn KitKat notification has finally pissed me off enough to do something about it. I've been ignoring it for at least 4 months now, and...
I updated to 4.3 today and now my sdcard0 stuff is gone. There's a fraction of the data left behind. Actually, the phone knows that 9 gigs is used but only about a half gig is accessible.
Also, ES File Explorer calls it "0" instead of "sdcard0". Astro still calls it sdcard0 but neither of them...
Ignore this thread.
My bars are up to 5 all of a sudden. It seems everytime over the past 3 hours I looked at my phone, it had 1-2 bars, but right now, I have 5. I'll keep an eye on it and update this if it becomes an issue at a later date.
I sent a text message this morning, and then turned the screen off. About 7 minutes later, I turned the screen back on to a notice a "network signal wasn't found" message and I had the option to hit the OK button. Upon doing that, my text message from 7 minutes ago gets sent.
I'm wondering...
So for the first week or so I've been following my battery performance with battery monitor widget. I noticed that when sleeping it would draw only like 15-40 MA for the most part. Using the phone with the screen on would draw 300-400mA. If I used navigation and left the screen on, I could draw...
I had to call them to verify the deductible as it's not specifically mentioned. It took the guy about 15 minutes and several trips back to the phone to tell me he's still looking for the answer...when he finally told me it's $100 like any top tier phone (iPhones excluded as they go through apple...
I am still not 100% certain what I'll be doing with my EVO V now that I've got a Galaxy S3. Part of me wants to keep it as a spare phone in case something <gulp> happens to my S3 :(
But the other part of me wants to sell it and recover the money while I can before the value drops too much...
For anyone who's got the MSL for your phone, can you check the DATA information for me and see what some of the default settings for the 4G LTE connection are?
How many seconds is the retry? How often does it poll for 4G? I seem to have difficulty getting into 4G in areas that I know 4G is...
I seem to vaguely recall Apple patenting the idea of clicking on a phone number and then having the phone call it. Nevermind that Unified Communications by Microsoft does this...but I guess that's not on a mobile device...so whatever.
Is the S3 plague by this? Can you click on a phone number...
