Ok....so I unrooted using ABD on 2.1 and deleted the bloatware. I then tried to update 2.2 OTA, didn't work. I then re-added the bloatware and tried to update 2.2 OTA, didn't work. I then cleared my cashe and and wiped my phone and tried to update to 2.2 OTA, once again didn't work. Everything...

I've read through all the posts and can't seem to figure this one out. I had a friend of mine help me by taking my droid x and plugging it into the PC to unroot my phone. I then removed all the bloatware using Titanium Backup. I reinstalled all of the apk's that I deleted but it still will not...

I'm new to android from Storm 1 so obviously I'm new to the concept of rooting as well. When Moto does an update of Froyo on Droid X if we update through that will have to reroot our phone? Just wondering how this normally works for those who have dealt with this on another android phone.

Currently to open the screen so i can click on my home screen I have to press one of the 4 hard buttons to get the unlock screen to come up then slide the unlock button across the screen. Is there any way to make it so that just touching the screen will cause the unlock screen button to show up?
