Well my dx keeps wanting to install gb, only problem is root, rom and removal of bloat. The update keeps failing to install. Its killing my battery and getting hot in my pocket. What do I need to freeze with ti in order to stop it from trying to install gb?

This rom is incredibly stable and does every thing I ask of it. Yet most the post around here are for Liberty or Apex. What gives?

I installed Z4root on my x. Whats next. I have no use for pretty much all of the bloatware/blur on there. Coming from a rooted eris running FroShedYo(cyanogen mod) i think i may want to go custom but i am really not sure whats next.

A buddy gave me his old eris to use so I could move away from my BB. He already rooted it with plain jane. I have been using this phone now for several weeks and was thinking about changing the rom. So here are the questions: Will I lose my contacts? (not a big deal, i am still not done...
