Recently got an Otterbox Commuter case for my HTC Desire. Before I have noticed that when using it while charging it would get pretty warm on the back. Wonder if anyone's had a problem with overheating when using it while charging with the Otterbox case on. Richard

For shutting down is there a difference between Quick Boot and the normal shutdown procedure. Quick Boot just takes a second. The normal shutdown procedure takes much longer. What's the phone doing then, I wonder and is the phone missing something important when I use Quick Boot?

I suppose it would be no issue to root this as it's running Android 2.1 but would there be any custom ROM that could be installed to provide more memory for apps? Or is there another way to get more memory on it?

Anyone able to download the additional necessary data for Need for Speed shift? When you load the program it says it has to download an additional 100 megs of data but my download only gets to about 10% and stops. Gives me the option to retry but it goes no farther.
